TractorsInternational 2027, Kenworth 2026 and 2024, Peterbilt 2025 and 2024. Automatic, standard sleeper, inverter and fridge. Every truck has an APU. All trucks governed at 70 mph. Dual-facing cameras

Trailers53 ft dry van (Stoughton, Wabash, Great Dane), 2023 to 2027. Reefers are expected in mid-November

Your first 2 days

1
Day 1: drug test, road test and paperworkUrine drug test, road test with pre-trip inspection, and onboarding paperwork.

Hotel is on the companyZenith pays the hotel and the drug test. Orientation itself is unpaid.
3
Day 2: orientationSafety, systems and dispatch. Once the drug test clears you can be assigned a truck and a load.

Hit the roadYour own truck, new and ready, usually the day after orientation.

Pay, bonuses and extras

Pay: $0.75 per mile, $2,000 a week or more depending on miles (not a guarantee)
Extra stop: $25
Detention: $20 an hour after 2 hours
Layover: $150
Clean DOT inspection bonus: Level III $200, Level II $400, Level I $600
Safest driver of the month: $500
Referral bonus: $300 for a company or lease driver
Health insurance (Illinois drivers): the company pays half, the driver pays half
Riders allowed: 18 or older, ID needed before pickup. Ask the recruiter about pets

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
2 years of verifiable, recent OTR tractor-trailer experience in your job history
Road test and pre-trip inspection at orientation
A good driving record. A few violations are reviewed case by case; no DUI or DWI
Urine drug test. SAP drivers are accepted
No criminal background check
No non-domiciled CDLs. Proof of legal work status (I-9) is required
